Three fun Web 2.0 things I did today

  1. Attended a ‘Reaching the Millenial Generation’ session at AGCAS Biennial where I sat on a panel, sounded off about what we’ve done with Facebook, learned half-a-dozen fabulously useful things that I’ll be putting in place tomorrow and next week and met a bunch of interesting people (thank you Jayne and Jayne). Did you know that the most popular tattoo of a brand for Generation Y is Harley Davidson?  With Disney and Coke coming second and third?  More on another day.
  2. Got my first pack of Moo cards!
  3. Asked our Facebook group for feedback on the statement by a speaker that Generation Y is all about ‘me, me, me…’ via mobile from the back of the hall.  Didn’t get a response but sometimes, it’s the thought that counts.  Unfortunately, m.facebook.com still has issues and managed to post my comment to our Facebook wall three times.  No amount of effort via the mobile web would erase the duplicates.  I finally had to text the office to get rid of them minutes before I had to get up and do my bit.  That could have been very embarrassing…
