Crowd go mild. Or a bit bitter. Blognation put it best - “a nice first step, but it’s far from ready for prime time”. Meanwhile, other responses range from mild paranoia (“It’s all a Microsoft plot“) to “Curse You, DRM“.

Me, I’m on a Mac. So I’m not invited until they get it running on Silverlight. Though whether I can be bothered to jump through all the hoops required to register in order to watch “Chucklevision” is another matter altogether. One thing I do wonder is whether, despite all the problems the project is reputed to have suffered from over the course of its development, any other organization would have bothered to try at all?
